Items accepted in the recycling blue bin
Check the list before placing items into the bins.
The City of Laredo wants to thank you so much for your commitment to recycling correctly. We recently launched an advertising campaign to promote recycling and educate everyone on what goes into the Billie Blue recycling bin, such as paper, cardboard, metal cans, and plastic containers. In addition, this campaign explains what shouldn’t go into the recycling because it is garbage. Do not throw “tangler” items, such as hoses, ropes, or clothing, into the recycling bin. Do not recycle plastic wrap, plastic bags, bagged recyclables, hazardous materials, or “DIRTY” items, such as dirty diapers, food, or yard waste.
